Jurnal Pembangunan Kota Tangerang (JPKT) (p-ISSN: 3046-8582; e-ISSN: 3025-4698) is a biannual, open-access, double-blind peer-reviewed scholarly journal published in June and December by the Regional Development Planning Agency (BAPPEDA) of Tangerang City.

JPKT publishes original quantitative, qualitative, mixed-method, and policy-analytic research that provides solutions to contemporary urban issues. Public Policy Innovation, Bureaucratic Reform & Collaborative Governance Evidence-based regional policymaking, bureaucratic transformation, outcome-driven medium- and long-term planning (RPJPD/RPJMD), municipal performance budgeting, public-private-civic partnerships (quadruple helix), regulatory reform, and local legislative effectiveness.

Smart City Architecture, Civic Technology & Data-Driven Governance Implementation of electronic-based government systems (SPBE), big data analytics for municipal diagnostics, urban Artificial Intelligence (AI) modeling, Internet of Things (IoT) sensors, citizen engagement interfaces (e.g., Tangerang LIVE), cyber-infrastructure resilience, and open public data ecosystems.

Editorial Process & Publication Ethics
